Our Principal, Carl O’Mahony graduated from NUIG in 1992 and did a postgraduate LLB in UCC in 1993. He attended the Law Society and qualified as a solicitor in 1996. He initially practiced in a medium sized Cork City practice going on to become a partner in that practice in 2000. Carl made the move to establish his own practice in 2005 and hasn’t looked “back since. Carl specialises in private client business and he has developed a large commercial practice dealing with negotiating with banks and personal insolvency and bankruptcy matters on his clients behalf. He was been involved in many high profile medical negligence cases, personal injury cases and has dealt with dozens of cases involving the defective Depuy hip joint. Carl is a member of the Mental Health Commission Panel of Legal Representation and is a member of the Garda Siochana Compensation Tribunal.
Frances Nash
Frances Nash
Frances Nash graduated from UCC in 2001 with an honours degree in Law and French. She qualified as a solicitor in 2009. On completion of a Law Society Diploma in 2012, she became a Trusts and Estate Practitioner. Frances specialises in conveyancing, both residential and commercial, has extensive litigation experience and has a particular interest in licensing law. She engages in work in all courts and tribunals and has been involved in many Personal Injury and Medical Negligence cases together with contractual disputes, property and landlord and tenant disputes she also deals with Debt Collection issues for both business and private clients. Frances is a huge asset to the company, her professionalism and friendly approach always make the client feel at ease. She is a member of the Southern Law
Association and of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners in Ireland.
Aline O'Connor
Aline O'Connor
Aline joined the firm in 2016. She graduated from UCC in 2008 with an honours BCL degree and thereafter studied with the Law Society of Ireland in Dublin. Aline has extensive experience in all aspects of conveyancing and has a keen interest therein, having completed the advanced commercial and complex conveyancing course with the Law Society of Ireland. Aline has also worked closely with developers in relation to the establishment and set up of residential developments. Aline also specialises in probate practice and has a variety of experience and expertise in all
areas of general practice.
Julie Crowley
Julie Crowley
Julie Crowley graduated from UCC in 1992 and went on to study in France for 12 months obtaining a postgraduate qualification in Marketing and Administration. Julie has been responsible for management, administration and compliance issues in our practise for over 20 years
Lauren Lehane
Lauren Lehane
Lauren joined us in 2021 as a Legal Secretary. She graduated from UCC with a BSc in Government in 2019 and then went on to do a Postgraduate LLB in UCC and graduated in 2021. During her undergraduate degree, Lauren also attended the University of Tennesee at Chattanooga to study Social Entrepreneurship. Lauren was the sole Irish Candidate selected for this Scholarship which was granted by the U.S Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Lauren is presently sitting her Law Society FE1 Examinations and is determined to qualify as a Solicitor.

Emma joined us in 2021 as a Legal Secretary. Emma has vast experience in the legal field and works closely with our solicitors and previously worked in the areas of Litigation for over six years before joining our team. Emma prides herself in her efficiency, professionalism and her can do attitude.
